Not to bring you down, Jenn . . . . when I was pregnant with my daughter the doctor's told me I would have her either Christmas Eve or Christmas day . . . she didn't get here until January 13th!!!! And, she weighed 11 lbs. 4 oz. Sooo, just hang in there. She'll be along shortly ; )

My son was pretty much on time, but the two girls were stubborn, both two weeks late! I hope your little one decides to arrive soon!
All 4 of my babies were late. With my middle son I had pre-term labor at 35 weeks and when the doctors stopped it, they stopped it so well that he went exactly 14 days overdue. BUT, I don't have a 28 day cycle and none of my doctors ever took that into consideration, so in reality, all of my babies were probably right on time... just like yours will be. :wink:
She'll get here when she's good and ready I suppose. I'm nesting a bit, just tore my bedroom slam apart moving stuff around, lol. I'm really starting to feel a heaviness and pressure in my lower tummy, so it could be anytime, or she could wait 3 more weeks, who knows?

Girls, a c-section is the way to roll. You don't feel a thing and you are in ZERO pain. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The heck with all that screaming and stitches for days!
I thought you got stitches when you had a c-section. What do they do, tape your belly shut? The BEST way to do it is au naturale. No drugs to get out of your system and you can take a shower minutes after the birth, if you want to.

Yeah girl, you would have been proud of him, he picked out a gorgeous ring - the boy has taste. They called last night after he had given it to her, it was hilarious. They were in a nice restaurant and he was so nervous when he went to go down on one knee he knocked his chair over and then she was crying so hard it took him asking her 5 times before she could get "yes" out. Luckily though, they are both smart kids, they are waiting until after DS graduates college next year before actually getting married. (My little traditional boy actually asked her father for her hand two days before giving her the ring)
My hubby asked my dad's blessing at Golden Corral...not much better than the Awful House! That was my dad's place though!
So, as for homemade labor remedies, I've eaten so much pineapple and spicy food, that I'll never be able to touch it again after baby gets here. I walk every single day, My poor DH tells me he is not a machine, lol.... Went to the Dr today, and I am 75% and 1 cm, so we ARE making progress. He stripped my membranes, and thats supposed to help. Sigh........ Still pregnant.......
