Who Wants Snow? I do...here Friday night, gone Sunday night. That way we don't miss work, but get some snow this year. Anyone think we will get snow this year? I work at a Truck Stop, so I hear it all over the place, yes we will have a blizzard, or no we aren't going to get a thing. What do you think?
I'll p***, No thanks. When (If) we do have any winter weather; that will be night that a momma cow has a major birthing issue & needs my Vet/Midwife skills. Yipppiieee! Shoulder Gloves with snow & ice.
IF YOU "WANT" SNOW & YOU LIVE IN THE RALEIGH AREA: 1. Move back north !!! 2. Buy a snow making machine for "your" yard. 3. Take a trip to the mountains, get your "fix", and come back. I vote the world tips south 8 degrees and we become sub-tropical!!!!
Well I am in Colorado...need I say more? Actually it's crazy because we get the storms and than it's sunny and 40 degrees without the humidity. Anyone taking a ski trip out this way...just let me know! My son, who lives there, got to go to Vail when he visited.
70 on Saturday!!! Orange Slice and I get our wish for warmer weather!!!!! Guess where I"ll be????? vroom vroom
snow I'm not sure why anyone thinks people should move north if they want snow...I've lived almost all my life in NC, and we always had at least 2 good snows each winter that closed school for a day or two and we had some good sledding on the hill by our house. (I was even farther east in Greenville!) I remember returning to NCSU in 1989 from Christmas break with one lane open down 264 and about 12" on campus. If you want it to snow every week, then move north, yes, but we used to get a lot more snow than we have recently. My DH grew up in Asheville and he remembers loads of snow whereas our relatives there now say they don't get a lot of it these days. I say let us have some good snow and some cold weather! That's what's winter is supposed to be for unless you live in Florida!
