Can someone recommend a dog groomer in the Smithfield area?

I have a Golden Retriever who is getting pretty nappy these days! I'm so pregnant I can't wash him but he needs a good bath. Anyone want to recommend a good, reasonably priced groomer in the Smithfield area?

i don't know about Smithfield, but up on 42, Rachel at Critter Country is great and great rates.

 

Not sure if Bark and Bath go into Smithfield or not, 247-7875 is their number! She (Jean) has been doing Mattie's hair for a while now and I love her, even though the cat really doesn't! :lol: :lol:

 

STOP hg! For the umpteenth time, she only does small dogs and cats. Where in that van would there be room for a golden???

 

True to a point le, Jean can accomodate meduim sized dogs as well, if they are used to being groomed and nicely 'walk the plank' from the tub to the grooming table so they don't have to be carried. Naturally, a LARGE dog will not fit in the tub - but my three all do - not all at once though ;-)

While I doubt a golden will fit, if you are reading this and have a dog whose size might be questionable, give Jean a call and see if she can accomodate your furry friend.

Theres no way Jean or anyone else could get their hands on Shelby. We put her in the shower when it's cold outside and she just stands in the driveway when it's warm out for her bath outside.
