Man Sought For Questioning In Clayton Child's Death!

Oh my!!!

Clayton police responded to a call from the girl's mother at 2020 McKinnon Drive about 4:45 p.m. Friday, who told dispatchers the child had been decapitated.

She just turned four. Poor baby!!!

 

'Neighbors told WRAL that John Violette lived at the residence with his wife, Amber, and his daughter Caitlyn, who recently celebrated her fourth birthday.'


So am I reading this right? This man they are looking for is her father?

 

Maybe I read it wrong but I think they were saying his daughter just turned four. They said they weren't releasing info about the mother and girl. It seems like his family lived with a lady and her daughter. Or am I reading it wrong? It's late.:?:

OMG

I just read about this story....I can't believe this, I work with his wife.....The way I read the story is that there was a young girl there other than his daughter and she was the one found dead....But then on another station it said that authorities believed he was the child's father so I'm just not sure. I've been scouring different news stations. This is horrible! My heart goes out to her and the family of the dead child....I can't imagine.

 

I can't imagine either. What would possess someone to do something so absolutely heinous to a little child? :cry:

The more I've found on this story it looks like it was his child found dead and his wife, Amber, that called 911....I can only hope and pray that isn't the case. The fact that a child is dead is terrible enough, the story just keeps getting worse and worse.

 

WRAL just confirmed that it was his 4 year old daughter that his wife found dead in their home. :cry:

They caught him....

NBC17 is reporting they caught him in DC. They found his car at RDU and tracked him to a hotel. They arrested him a little after 4:30am this morning and he will be held in DC awaiting an extradition hearing. I can only hope and pray that somehow he didn't do it, but if he did, may he fry.

 

It's hard to imagine what it would take to cause you to snap far enough to decapitate your own child.

 

My heart goes out to this family. That poor little girl. I cannot imagine someone doing this to a child!! This makes me very sad. There is no excuse for doing this to an innocent child. I have a son this age and I can never in my wildest dreams think about doing this to him! My prayers go out to this family.

 

I agree.
No matter how rotten my kids could act, I would never EVER even THINK about hurting them let alone killing them! That poor little girl, my heart truley breaks for her and her family. :-(

Unintended victims

Thoughts and prayers to those that responded to the mothers call. I'm sure the events forced them to to question humanity and the ongoing struggle between good and evil. I can't imagine what they will have to deal with for years to come.

 

I agree very nicely said, I was there today to lay some flowers and the Police officer on duty looked very sad.

 

Betcha anything he'll plead temp insanity. He has no criminal record, although I did see on WRAL's page for it where somebody had posted an unpleasant experience with him at the store he work. All I can say, is horrible, horrible...horrible. I can not imagine a mother having to come home to here home by herself and find her daughter beheaded and worse, to find that your husband had done it. Too early to speculate but I would imagine many suspect this was a vindictive act purposedly intended for the mother to find.

 

A friend of my sister was one of the first responders...she has been in that line of work for YEARS and she said it was the first time she ever fainted. She said it was absolutely awful. Poor baby...no one deserves that, especially a child.
