Can anyone else hear....

:shock: For real? How was that allowed to happen?

 

They are the military, they have maneuvers going on 24/7 out there. We used to hear it all the time, day and night. Sometimes the troops go out there for 1-2 weeks at a time and have training camps, war games, etc.

 

WE heard rumblings last night too, about 11-11:30. My hubby thought maybe it was the ST Wooten company blasting at their rock quarry, on Cleveland Sch rd?

I wouldn't think we'd hear Ft Bragg this far away?

Before Amy Grant was a star, I used to see her at ... some Church in Raleigh. I can't remember where.

 

Remember that song "Daddy's Hands" by Holly Dunn? She was on one of those older (nashville I think) and beat out the 1st runner up that sounded like Goerge Strait... His name I Ronnie..I used to work with him *sigh* he had a crush on me and would serenade me daily He was way better... what did she have.. a whole ONE hit. :roll:

 

Okay, a little bit ago there was a "boom" so strong that it made a door in my house shut! :shock: The dogs went crazy too. Haven't heard/felt one since. :? MP, you hearing any today?

 

I heard several last night

Felt like it was rattling the house near WJHS last night. Kept asking the wife what that noise was during American Idol

 

Heard it last night too. My windows rattled something flew over head and sounded really low. I thought a plane was coming down. I was ready to run.

 

I haven't noticed any today. I am in my own little world today though so I just might have missed them....well from the sounds of it I would hear the one you are talking about. LOL

 

I'm in Fuquay off of 55 S towards the Angier side and I can occasionally hear loud distant explosions, too. I had no idea what they were.

 

I hear it all the time. It's nothing new out my way. I'm in the big old place called called Meadow, you know the Meadow Christmas Light's most of you came too! Any way I live 8miles from Dunn, 8miles from Benson, and 8 miles from Newton Grove.

 

I think it's the Borg, coming to assimiliate us. Since I never hear these sounds, I guess it will get to you all down that way before it gets to Clayton. We will try to put up a fight here, but I fear resistance will be futile!:cry:
