I second that HG! Drive carefully everyone! Or better yet, go in after the roads are better, if you have that option.
My husband has to commute to Fayettville in the morning. Not to thrilled about that. Becareful everyone Ro
You know, the last time they called for weather like that is when we got about two inches of ice that locked up traffic on 440 and 40 for HOURS!!! Kids had to sleep at school because parents could'nt get to them, it sucked. Here's hopin' we don't get the same crap this time. I want pretty snow over a weekend when no one has to go anywhere, gone by Monday morning. Not ice. Ice makes great snowballs, but hurts when you hit your little bro. in the head with one. lol
that wasn't even 2" framemama, that was less than 1/4"... but the roads weren't prepared for it and it got slick as "goose-poop" as fast as it was hitting the roads.
Not to get too off base but my husband drives semi and was in the ice storm in Kansas, said it was awful, then ended up in Texas for that one too. Me I am glad I am not working tomorrow and don't have to get in that mess. :!:
The Winter Weather Advisory for Johnston County is until 9am, (the one for Wake is til noon.) So does that mean we can sleep in tomorrow?
i hope so but i did hang at work late tonight to finish payroll just in case. Would love to sleep in tomorrow:-D
At least our friendly weather forecasters can admit that this was (once again) a bit more precipitation than even they expected. Does that mean a blizzard come Sunday???
These are the same people who want you to believe they can predict global warming. No, it means they screwed up in predicting too little, now they're going to over compensate by predicting too much.
