sigh...i hate to say this. many people will probably hate me for it..but oh well...we all have opinions right?! i mean 1. that's just how news is...it's sad that our world is one where 90% of news is about death...but well...it is. they're going to say it, no matter what. 2. no one makes you sit down with your children, where you know they could be exposed to the truths of the world...and watch the evening news. i don't mean that as harsh as it sounds, but eh i don't know how to word it. we as a nation have become too 'offended' by news media, or any other media that is out there now, even down to that woman mad that the nitendo Wii makes her children get on it an access porn. this kind of stuff has just become part of this world, and it doesn't seem like it's going to change anytime soon. :?
On XM Radio, Opie and Anthony have people send in the most ridiculous news teasers they can find. I was in DC a while back and heard "Something you're doing now could become illegal soon....tonight at eleven!" Anyway....yeah we don't need to hear the gory details twice a day. six times a day for stay at home people.
I agree with you. Don't feel bad. Although, I would like to see a some more positive things mixed in. The bad will always over power the good :? NBC17 has the 7 o'clock news now. It's very convenient.
