Anyone ever been there? I am going to a show in Feb. Is it general admission? Do they serve drinks? Thanks

Probably should go in the random thoughts thread - Why would anyone name a theater after Lincoln? It is about the only building/institution (other than the KKK Hall of Fame) that I would not name after Lincoln.

Excellent venue, right across the street from a very well maintained parking garage. For those that haven't been since the remodeling, it's worth a visit. There is now a full balcony around the top of the theatre. Bar is located in the back, and used to be beer only... but I think they're trying to work the liquor license deal.

And the guy that hosts their website is AWESOME! (That's as close as you're going to get for full disclosure. :) )

HOLY COW!!! Last time I was there it was a dump! That place is awesome! kinda reminds me of the old Ritz Theater in Raleigh with the balcony in there.

Last I heard they were going private in order to get Mixed Beverage License. You can go on-line to get membership. Don't have address, but read this in one of their ads in the N&O
