And I don't think female hormones have everything to do with it either. http://youtube.com/watch?v=knm492yxMfo

See, the problem is.... I can't access any of this from work so it's frustrating. Then, I get home and forget to look...so it's irritating (( Frogger
I'm glad someone else has discovered that song. I began working on it to sing at my son's graduation Sunday at church in June. I feel like if I work on it for the next 4 months I might be able to get through it. The part about "I'll have tears as you take off..." gets me every time. Time goes by so quickly. I'm a big softy though. I cried when I bought his 18th birthday card a few weeks ago. Someone please tell me that it gets easier with child #2 and #3.
In that first video, when Juan Mann's hair is long and he is wearing glasses, he reminds me so much of Chris Robinson (of Black Crowes fame... and Kate Hudson's ex.) John Lennon too, now that I think of it. Anyone else see a resemblance? :-D
I remember singing that song last year at church for the kids that graduated from diffrent schools. It was pretty tough to get through it knowing I have 2 kids of my own.
I don't know why but the part where his little girl is crawling on the porch really does it to me. That and when he is holding the tiny baby.
Ummm, big time! Oh btw, don't play those songs on Friday! Friday's are for upbeat songs only!
no it doesn't get easier. i actually think its harder. my baby graduates this year and i'm not looking forward to it at all. i went throught this last year so you'd think i'd be ok by now. but i can tell you the hardest part was not graduation, it was driving away from college and leaving her there.
