one of the jc commissioner said - no way - to the Six Flags when I spoke to one I know a few months ago... So not sure if they changed their mind recently? If so keep us posted.
If I had the $ I would open a BoJangle's at 210. The one at 42 is busy no matter what time of day you go. They must make a killing!
If the rumor mill runs true, keep a watch on the corner that the trash dropoff is at. Once they move and the rest of the corner (where the old gas station was torn down) has been rumored to be the home for Bojangles.
We were at the Canes game last night w/ the DM for Advance Auto parts and he said that Advance on 210 will open in 3 months and there will be one opening on 42 in 6 months.
Ok, now i am confused Why would the DM from Advanced Auto say they were coming to McGees if it is an Autozone? Are both opening down there?
Guess no one has any money I can borrow to open a Chickenfillets! :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( Come on people!
Teehee. Good to see you knocked off a little early yesterday. You work like a horse, woman. You need the occasional afternoon o-f-f!!! Frogger
I actually wrote & called the Chick-Fil-A corporate office to inquire about operating one of these businesses myself. After a brief conversation with the individual who returned my call I learned that you don't get to pick the area of operation. Chick-Fil-A's Realestate department chooses the new locations/cities/towns. Once the location is decided upon ... then they go about finding qualified individuals to operate it. I explained that this area had tremendous growth and that I thought a Chick-Fil-A in this area would be veray profitable. They said they already had the new locations for the next 2 years decided upon. I asked if there was anything I could do to get our area placed on a list to be considered for a future Chick-Fil-A. The woman I spoke with didn't seem to think so. I was hoping I could write a few letters asking for a Chick-Fil-A in the area and ask others to do the same, but the woman I spoke with didn't seem to think that would make a difference. Who knows, maybe we will get a Chick-Fil-A sometime in the distant future. However, at the rate we are growing, there may not be room for a Chick-Fil-A 3 years from now. I guess for now we'll have to keep visiting the locations in Fuquay & White Oak.
Mylinda~ What's the contact info? Maybe there are others who would join in on the campaign but are a little shy about posting... Frogger
Being an "uncaring male" this ranks on my list just ahead of a feminine hygiene store and right after the "All Things Tape" store.
