Cool. It does work. Mrs. Oy has lost a total of 122 pounds. Her HDL (good) cholesterol has gone up to 50, with a total cholesterol of 173. Not bad for someone who eats bacon, eggs, and plenty of butter every day! I was stuck at 80 pounds lost for over a year. Now that I'm out from under that 1.5 hour each way commute to Chapel Hill every day, I've been lifting hard in the gym and doing A LOT of cardio, and weight loss has resumed to the tune of 4ish pounds a week. I've also started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training a few times a week, which is MUCH more intense than the elliptical machine at the gym I use. My total cholesterol's been hovering in the 180's, but my HDL has slowly clawed its way up from the high 20's to 43. My glucose has remained completely under control, and triglycerides have gone from over 400 to normal.
