So what is everyone doing for Valentine's Day this year being that it falls in the middle of the week? Just so ya know, The Clubhouse and CDH both have special things going on that night. Don't have all the details on what the Clubhouse has foodwise but i know they are having a DJ and appetizer table with a chocolate fountain, etc. and lots of drink specials. Will try to get details to post if i can. CDH is having special dinners. One is a dinner for 2 for $50 includes Prime Rib or Parmesan Dinner with a bottle of wine. Then they have a couple of single dinners ranging from $11.99 - $14.99 for Prime Rib or Chicken Parmesan. Anyone else know of local places doing anything special for Valentine's Day. Since it is on a Wednesday we will probably stay close to home, just haven't really decided what we are gonna do yet.
Hey we don't set the holidays around here we just live by them. Now if you men can't do the same then... may God be with you in your time of desperation while sitting in the dog house outside... here's the weather forecast just in case you want to reconsider. Burrr 24 degrees... Good luck with that Lind!
Yeah, thought about that but it is really unfair to whoever gets stuck doing the cooking - Valentine's Day is for you both (also a good excuse to get taken out for dinner:lol Still get to make it home for dessert though
I love it Koo!!!!! I happen to know that DH has already shopped and got me something last week.... I won't have to make him reservations at the Doggie Hilton with his daughter Dixie. :-D
Oh, i forgot to mention, ClubHouse is advertising their thing as for couples or singles, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
TY TY... I keep myself in stitches sometimes! But with all fairness I got a few tricks up my sleeves for the ole hubby 8)
Valentine's Day? What's that? Is there something special about that day? Am I missing something here? Craig
I don't think so, unless I'm missing it too. Go Broke Day sounds like a more fitting name to me. Snuff
You know, Valentine's Day is more than just a ploy in commercialism. It is the one day when you are allowed to spend time with your sweetie to the exclusion of everything else, including kids, family, friends, etc. If you can spend quality time with the one you love (without interuption) any other time of the year, more power to you. But for the rest of us who actually have lives that tend to get in the way of love, we appreciate this day.
My husband and I have been 'together' since we were 14 and in 8th grade. He is out of town this week and we are away from each other for V-day the first time in over 20 years years. Sigh...
Sorry to hear it lj  . Maybe you can have dinner over the phone. Used to do that myself when we were away... Frogger
Who's got big balls.... CRAIG'S got big balls.... who's got the biggest balls of them all....... TASSY when it's all said and done if you keep this up buddy!
