Looking for the name / phone number of the Urgent Care/family practice near Just Tires @ 4042. Anyone also know their hours and have experiences to share? It looks like my daughter might have pink eye and I don't want to wait until tomorrow to get in to the peds and start treatment.

Sorry, can't think of the name either. But, i do like that so much better than the other one up on 42. They actually take appts etc., so that even when you go in there with an emergency, the insurance looks at it like a dr's visit instead of emergency room - saves a lot. We have been there several times and never been disappointed. Good luck:-D

You can buy eyedrops for "Pink Eye" over the counter without a prescription. Just go to Wal mart or CVS and look where all the eyedrops are. Why waste money on a doctor who is going to give you the same stuff.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know OTC meds were available for this. It would have saved my husband two hours at urgent care and another half hour at CVS. Oh well.

The OTC drops are good for viral pink eye but will not do anything for bacterial pink eye. If there is thick white, green or yellow goopy stuff coming out of the eye(s) then you still need to see a doctor because it is probably a bacterial infection.

There are many things that may "look" like pink eye, but not be, I wouldn't take any chances with my eyes by using some OTC eye drop, especially on a kid. But that's just my opinion.

My family uses this practice as our family practice. Dr. Godfrey is Board certified family practice and all of her PAs are wonderful.
