I am helping my mother locate a maid to clean once a week. My parents have their hands full with health issues right now and need basic housekeeping assistance for at least the next 6 months, if not long term. I would really appreciate any recommendations from my fellow 40/42'ers who have had someone clean their homes before. What is the going rate for cleaning a 3 bdrm, 2 bath home these days? Apparently you are all as frugal as I am and do not have any housekeeping assistance. Are there any maid services you recommend instead of an individual?
