Not sure if this means anything but there was a bad accident at the intersection of 42 and Cornwallis
We came by it at about 4:20 or so ... any idea what happened. I could see more than 2 cars & maybe a truck too.
Truck coming from Clayton area ran red light at high speed. Hit one car turning it all the way around and hit the front end of the other SUV. No one seriously injuried. Bumps and brusies and a few scarps. Alot of people were very lucky. Hope everyone involved is doing okay today. I just have one question? Why is everyone in such a rush these days? You will get to where you are suppose to be one way or another. It just seem like everyone is just rushing around all the time. Instead of just taking your time and to be safe. Everyone have a safe day.
i agree on the rushing bit when it comes to the truck running the light, he shouldnt have done that.. but am i the only person that pauses to look around before rolling on a green light? it seems to me that even if you're waiting to turn a semi moving at high speed towards where you want to be in the next few seconds says "Hey. lets wait a bit."
Last night I was at a red light on Cornwallis waiting to make a left on to Cleveland School. The light turned green but I waited because an emergency vehicle with lights and sirens was approaching the intersection. The person behind me was blaring their horn like I did not notice the light had turned. I hope they felt embarrassed by his/her impatience as the emergency vehicle rolled through the intersection.
JJ2, some dude was trying to "race" me not too long ago at the light coming from 40 turning right onto 42. Those are the days I wish I was driving a monster truck and could just crush some idiot!
Amen! My biggest pet peeve is when I'm doing the speed limit or slightly above, and I get someone right on my tail. If ya don't like it, go around me!:x Especially on 210 by the FL, they changed the speed limit from 45 to 35 and apparently I'm the only one that noticed!
