i got this in an email and i thought i would share it with the rest of you over 40 4042ers:-D It is from a man's point of view: As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?", here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage! :lol::lol::lol:
Yep, 40+ includes everything over 40:lol: i would be very surprised to meet any woman who has reached her 40's or 50's who would want to go back to the 20's:lol: (No offense to you young ones, but you will find out in time)
And the number one reason women over 40 are better...... (drum roll please) Bassinette gone, playpen still intact.
Thanks I needed that I am 45 and was wishing on 25. few wrinkles, the stress look going on, and not looking young any more. You just brightened my day and gave me hope for 46. Thought I was just being a Enlightened person. hahahahaha
Ah, I'm 42 and loving it. 42 is the answer the life, the universe and everything (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, for the under-literate), it is also a great age. I am much more likely to just tell you how I feel (I am Southern, so I'll do it politely, unless you deserve a 'bless your heart'), I am much more self-confident and much more content (that is a learned attitude...contentment is a choice to focus on blessings instead of what may be negative or lacking). The ONLY thing I miss about my 20's would be that which can be effected by gravity... ) Wouldn't go back, even for that!
Girl you need to start celebrating NOW - trust me, you are gonna love the 40's - i've been there for 7 years now and loving every minute of it (except of course the terminal case of CRS i have:lol but it gives ya a great excuse to get away with so much:lol:
