Theres also a towing company with large flatbed trucks that advertises they move storage buildlings. I'm pretty sure they are a regular advertiser in the SouthSide Shopper. They usually have a small block style advertisement, and they specifically mention that they move storage sheds. We used them 6 years ago and were pleased with their experience & service. We had them move a shed clear across clayton and think it was $225, not sure what a quick across the yard move might be.

Another thought.. not sure how far you're moving the shed.. but a neighbor of ours moved theirs themselves. They jacked the shed up, put some kind of tubing (pvc maybe) under it in 4 long pieces, then used a tow rope and had it anchored it around a tree as a pulley and repeated the process of it and pulling it a few feet and moving the front tube to the back. It didn't take them but about an hour to get it moved about a hundred feet or so.

Give Eddie with REH Auto. Repair a call he has a rollback and has moved several for my customers. Tell him Tim from (Tim's Handyman Service) told you to call. He's very reasonable

    Call Gary Ivey. Ivey's towing.

You see his huge trucks all over the place. He is my husbands best friend. I know he has moved sheds in the past.

Just make sure you're at least 10 feet from the property line here is Johnston County when you place it. I know of someone who is being fined by the County because they are right at the property line.

Thanks we are aware of the property line requirement. When we had the building built, about 6 years ago, we had to go through all kinds of hoops to get a permit ... one criteria for the permit was the 10 foot property line distance. We had to provide land plots to include our septic property lines, etc.

Does that property line requirement apply to fences as well? We have a neighbor that put one right on the property line. A big one.

ncmom, did you ever find anyone to move your shed? I saw this being advertised on Craigslist today and thought of your request on here.
