My neighbor, who's living in Flowers Plantation, just got a letter from JC School Board, stating that her daughter will go to the new middle school, not Riverwood. The new middle school hasn't been named yet, but according to words-of-mouth, it could be named as either "Buffaloe Creek Middle" or "Northwest Middle". By the way, her daughter is disappointed because she won't be able to see her friends who's living in Riverwood area and will be going to Riverwood Middle. The new school will be open just in time for this new school year.
I've had orders coming across my desk for a "North West Middle School" @ 740 Wendell Rd., Wendell. So.. I guess its been named.
There will be a Public hearing meeting at River Dell Elementary Thursday night to discuss the attendance zones. I figured we would get lumped into the "new" section of town but at least if there is going to be a high school built too, we won't have our kids traveling miles to Clayton High.
Wendell? I thought it was located in Clayton, not too far from Riverdell. We just drove by and it's still in "Clayton" though.
Some places out that way have a Wendell mailing address. Tafton S/D comes to mind.......................
I don't know... thats just the name and address on the work orders I've been seeing. Defnitely new construction, we've been shipping truckloads of metal stud, sheathing and sheetrock out there for our customer.
Are you all referring to Archer's Lodge Middle? It is directly down the road from River Dell, on Buffalo. It is being built right now, and will be done right before school begins. This middle school will relieve Riverwood Middle and Corinth Holders.
