Anyone else gotten caught on 50 when this bird has darted in and out of traffic? I got some photos of Garner Police Officer chasing the hen out of traffic. Kind of funny but if that bird don't smarten it up she'll be road hash. additional photos
Also we need a DEER CROSSING sign on Raleigh Road near Middle Creek. It's getting to be a Daily Crossing Pathway. Maybe I need to set up a Deer Toll booth. High Schoolers watch out deer love shiny loud cars!
On another board there is a PA Game Warden who told us of getting complaints about Deer Crossing signs in a certain area. The complaint was there were so many deer being killed there and to prevent it they should move the Deer Crossing signs to another safer area for the deer to use for crossing. He tried to explain the signs were a warning to motorists of deer in the area and not a sign to tell the deer where to cross for a while. He then had to just tell them he would pass it on to his supervisor and went on about his business. So, there may be a better place to put in that deer crossing, maybe with a pedestrian bridge or something .... :-D :lol:
