I noticed that they put in a lil playground by the daycare on Sanders road, near Lansing Subdivision. Its new, nice and not too big but I am paranoid because I feel it is to close to the main road. I am not sure if they are going to be putting up a fence or not. I would love to take my daughters there since there is not much around here for them but I am just afraid that a car will be speeding and loose control than crash into the playground. If anyone lives near the area...take a ride and you will see what I am talking about. I am not sure if its part of the daycare place because its not too close to the building. Am I crazy
Pretty Sure It Is not Open to the Public Almost positive it is for the daycare, but have not checked. If it is for Kim's Kids I am sure they will put a fence up.
A fence isn't going to be much protection against a 1 ton car or 2 ton truck. The only protection you will get with a fence is that your young one won't run into the road.
A fence will do no good there. Maybe you should call and they would consider moving the play area. I heard they were good there.
Thats true. I will call them to see if its open to the general public. Either way...I am not so sure it is safe where it is right now OR shall I mind my own business. Ro
Problem solved...It is for their daycare. They are waiting on putting a fence up before the kids play there. My thought was ...why don't they put the playground behind their building with a fence. Once again...I don't have kids going there and its not of my business. Ro
Advertising. The site of happy children playing is great advertising to parents driving down the road and thinking about changing daycares.
I believe its called Kim's Kids or something along the line. Its next to the Christian Acedemy school.
It's a before and after school care facility, not a daycare for tiny little ones. From what I hear, I doubt it has to do with advertising, they stay pretty full I think. Most of the good places around here do!
Yes, you are paranoid Hi, my daughter is currently at a 5 star preschool in Clayton and she will graduate in May. Once she graduates from her preschool she will be attending Kim's Kids for the summer. I will not put my daughter in any daycare that I feel is not only the best but also safe for my daughter to attend. I think your paranoia comes from not knowing the facts. Yes there will be a fence put around the play area, no it is not open to the public, yes a car could wreck, but ya know a plane could fall out of the sky and land on your house....as for advertisement, I know Kim as a professional and personal friend and the saftey of the kids at her center has always been #1...You should stop by one day and check it out for yourself...I hope the playground does not keep you from riding by the center and smiling.
Funny how differently we view things....I live right behond Kims Kids Daycare and I rode by and thought wow what a nice quaint play area for the kids...These are afterschoolers not 2 and 3 year olds and Kim has chihildren of her own and a very high reputation of exellence to uphold surely she is not willing to do any harm to her investment and livelyhood....Dont always views things as 1/2 empty....look for the silver lining!!:-D
I do know the facts after calling Kim's daycare and she did tell me that it wasn't for public' s use and that they were putting up a fense. Thanks Ro
