Would a coffee shop at 210 and 50 or 210 and 40 be successful? What do you look for in a coffee shop, other than the obvious. I have some ideas but would like more... Thanks
Cool, had that on the list. But I dont think I want rock n roll or anything. Maybe local easy listening guitar players. Or maybe a rock and roll coffee house would be cool....hummmmmm to go with a good dinner after the Draft House....
Absolutely, 100% we need a Starbucks/caribou/organic DECENT, coffee place in the area. no bands, no pastries, no other nonsense, Justa place to get a great cup of coffee. Plain and Simple, been saying it since I moved out here in 98.
Perfect, exactly along the lines I am thinking. An area for young kids? A quiet area for those who want quiet. internet work areas with desks. couch area open at 5 a.m. close late. 11 or 12 ish. different atmosphere for day than at night. Just to name a few ideas.
I was thinking some moms or dads have their kids during the day. Why not let moms/dads come relax and have an area with walls for the kids? Or a half or 1/4 wall for them to play with toys, color etc. then at night that could be where the music is played. Just brainstorming.
I would go to either if it were 40/210 or 50/210 and I know lots and lots of people who would too. Nothing against the places with fancy couches that have to be kept clean, or where children go, or to hear music, we already have all those things in the area. What we don't have, is a place to 'zip' into to get a good cup of coffee. And it doesn't have to be a 'chain' but I mentioned those places, as they have good coffee with good flavor.
Well, since there is a coffee shop at 40/42 already, I don't think this area needs another one right now. IMO we have enough stuff, traffic & congestion as it is.
A nice place with a drive through that opens early, my hubby would zip in every morning! The problem with a kids area is keeping it sanitary enough for parents to use it. With kids that are only half supervised, they are always putting stuff in their mouth or breaking toys (or fighting) I don't know how relaxing it would be. (now put a day care attendant in there and I may consider it!! )
are you opening a coffee shop? i think you'll mess up if you start catering to kids. a coffee shop should be for adults. take the kids to McDonalds.
With all the families with young children in the area, a plae like Jumpin Beans in Cary should be well received and visited. http://www.jumpinbeans.com/
i'd be good with any place around here. give it a good wireless connection and good coffee and i'll be there pretty often =P
Coffee Places in Garner... JUST FYI: The one in Garner on Aversboro Rd. in the Lowes' S/S has closed. The coffee place at the Aversboro Rd/Poole Dr. corner is still open, but was EMPYT the last time I stopped by.
