We've celebrated St Pat's Day in Savannah the last couple of years. Great parade, city atmosphere..If you've been before, you'll recognize the feeling of wishing to be there today. Regardless..celebrate with moderation.. H6
We celebrated with the Orange Order. History Lesson of the Day: Protestant Prince William of Orange's 1690 Battle of the Boyne victory over Catholic King James II is where the Orange Order takes its name. Protestant's celebrate by wearing Orange not Green on March 17. and now we all can fight in the streets..............
Stepdad is full blooded Irish Catholic and on my biological fathers side Protestant Irish. Step Dad would go so far as to remove all the orange Jelly Beans from the Easter candy and throw them out.
I don't have anything green OR orange to wear today, guess I'll be getting pinched allot. I know, bad Irish girl, bad!
