Where can I go locally to get eye glass frames that are very fashionable for a woman, yet not so high priced? My husband and I fight every time that I have to get glasses because I want fashion, and he wants a reasonable price. Last time my frames and lens cost a lot in his opinion. I settled for something that didn't look as nice in to make him happy, but I would like to be happy also. Thanks in advance! Suzanne
You really want to know? It's YOUR face! I don't think you should blow the bank account on some Gucci's but there are plenty of frames that are (what I would consider) reasonable!
Lens Crafters and Perle Vision sometimes have coupons in the Sunday papers. I thought I might have one I could offer, but it's due to expire this Saturday, so unless you're in a real hurry, I'm afraid it won't help. Keep your eye out, though, it seems like they show up every couple of months or so.
There is a reason Hught and "Fashion" typically do not show up in the same sentence; but have you tried BJ's?
i don't know if this will work for you, but my mom had a pair of nice sunglasses she totally loved and she took them to her optician to have lenses made to fit them - saved her quite a bit.
I just got my glasses from Dr. Byrd and Associates behind CVS (in new bldg) at 42/1010 and I thought they had a great selection and varied prices to fit any budget.
Walmart in Clayton has a nice selection. My DD (16yrs old) found some she liked and the price was right!
If they are single vision lenses, there is a place at the fairgrounds that does lenses and glasses for $69!! The lady told me they also have a place on Six Forks Rd, but I can't remember the name. They had TONS of frames, a lot that I thought looked nice. It's worth a shot!
