What's going on with y'all, no one is talking about this season's performances much. I think Melinda Doolittle is WAY out of her league on this season's show. She is so good and sounds so polished and professional compared to some of the others. And she just seems really sweet. I think Haley would make a great Broadway musical type singer but she is too "poppy" for my taste and I think she needs to go soon. As for the guys, I like Blake and both of the Chris's best. Don't even get me started on how much I dislike the way Sanjaya sings. And, IMO, his performance last night was HORRIBLE! Anyway, has anyone seen Elliot Yamin lately? Sanjaya sounds like the next Michael Jackson. I am not really into it this season like I have been in the past.
Sorry, i don't watch it, the only "reality" show i follow is "Dancing with the Stars" and that is because even though i can't i have always loved dancing:-D
I've got it all DVR'd, but I think they missed the mark so much with the 24 they picked this year, that I haven't even watched it since there were 19 or 20 of them left.
It is a wierd mix of talent this year. I am usually diehard AI, but nowadays it does not bother me to miss an epsiode b/c I am spared the Sanjaya torture! I think the judges may explode if he doesnt go home soon. He never should have made it to 24 in the first place, it was all for show. Now I think the judges are wishing he would just go! He creeps me out! I do love Haley, Jordan, Melinda, Blake & both the Chris's. I think Blake could win it, and really have a career after AI, unlike most of the constestants.
The Sanjaya torture... :lol: Can you believe Stephanie was voted off before Sanjaya was? I don't think she is as good as Melinda, Jordin and Lakisha, but she is 1000 times better than Sanjaya any day!!! :neutral: Phil Stacey is okay, but something about his look is creepy to me. Can't put my finger on it... I just don't like watching him sing. But, his wife is so cute in the audience. She looks like a love struck teenager while he is singing.

It is just plain WRONG that he is still there....and I believe he knows it. I actually feel sorry for him. He's really not that bad...if it were church or a high school musical...but imagine how many people could have taken his place. The majority of voters are teen girls so that is why he is getting the votes...not talent.
Sanjaya is the pits!!!! Sanjaya! No one to blame but the judges. They put him in the finals. It is not far fetched for him to win it all. If so, that will be the death of AI! We have been AI fans from the beginning. Watching and voting. But we have stopped watching it this year. The guys are pitiful and Sanjaya is the pits!
I really enjoy watching Blake sing. I like that beat-bopping (or whatever you call it) stuff that he does.

In fact, Peter Furler of the Newsboys is just as bald as Phil and I think he is a sexy man... So what is it about Phil Stacey that makes him creepy? :? LOL! Changing the subject a little...
