TopSoil answer I used the place on Cornwallis and their topsoil was very dirty, lots of sticks, rocks, roots. I spent hours of my time getting all the junk out to use in my flower beds. Pain in the butt. I was scheduled to get more than 1 load and called them back to say NO WAY. I went straight to Ogburn on 42 and got the rest of the topsoil, very clean. Ever since then, I haven't used anyone but Ogburn. There stuff is only pennies more expensive and much better quality.
Yep, we do screened topsoil, compost, compost/topsoil mixes, etc. too. See, bet i could have saved ya some money:-D
Kaci, I guess I should have asked about the top soil here and not on the church thread. What's the smallest load I can get?
agreed. my load had lots of glass, too. should've read a little more carefully...i think now i'd rather have had kaci's dirt after reading some more.
what is your address? also how much will fit into a pickup truck? a yard or 2? i take it you have a track hoe or a bobcat to load it? i am needing some.
Oh yeah, depending on what size truck bed you have, you can fit anywhere from 1 yard to 2 yards. Please take into consideration the weight though, screened topsoil is not very light.
My yard is almost an acre! When you can you deliver that? More seriously, can you PM me a quote for 1 yard if you deliver? I don't have a truck (oh, gosh, I can't believe I admitted that publicly!) My co-workers from Wake county will be stunned.
Hey all - got a lot of pm's about topsoil, mulch etc., will respond to all of you today as soon as i get a chance - Thanks:-D BTW, delivery is now booking about 1-2 weeks out - it is crazy here:lol:
