I've always had great service at that Jersey Mike's but unlike the one on Peace St in Raleigh, they don't have cucumbers???

Dirty Restaurants - No Excuse, Just Lazy and Greedy

My personal opinion is that NO CUSTOMER should eat at a dirty restaurant.

I do not believe in 2nd chances, since most reataurants that receive failing grades are fully aware what they are doing.

Anyone that has ever had food poising will tend to agree.

A few years back, I personally spoke to a food inspector here in NC.

The questions I ask was, 'Would you or your family eat at a restaurant that received a 90 ?"

The answer I got was, the he would NOT eat at a reastaurant that gets below a 96%.

Based on that, no one should be eating at over half of the restaurants in business.

Remember, you as a customer PAY a premium to eat out.

With SOME restaurants hiring any individual that walks in off the street, who knows what diseases these workers have, and what country they brought it from.

So next time you walk into a restaurant with your family and kids, you should ask youself, "Should I take the risk ?"

There is a risk to everything, you just have to use some common sense. How many items, processed and not processed have been recalled that you purchased form the grocery store.

I would not eat at a restaurant with less than a 90 but I am not going to quit eating out period.

    90.5 is my bottom limit....

    90.5 is my bottom limit....

but NOT if its a continuing problem.

I will not eat here ever again.

However, I have spoken to a number of people I work with, and about half of the people I spoke with, (BELIEVE) that even if a restaurant posts a 'B' or a 'C', their belief is that they (the restaurant) probably corrected the problems found.

    I do not believe that.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
In the case of the Brass Grill (at 40/42)

    - Date: 09-18-2006 - Score: 90.5
    - Date: March 2007 - Score: 88 and then regraded to a 'Low 'A'
(taken from the WRAL video clip report)

So does this restauant owner care....apparently NOT......

I'm a very picky resturant person.

Brass Grill lost my business back in January. Read all about it here:

I won't stay if it posts less than a 92. I've been known to be seated, see the grade, get up, and walk out.

When I go to a resturant, I expected to be treated with a certain level of respect and to have a better meal than what I would have prepared at home. Otherwise, I would have stayed home.
