C3 hss the right to expand. Sorry if that offends. I am happy my chruch is getting bigger and I would like to see more people there. No place is perfect and noise being made while they are building a new worship center can't really be controlled by them. Were you upset by the nosie that the school made while it was being put up????? Or is this just a bash C3 party???

No one is disputing the right to expand, but the fact that it is a Church does not exempt them from common decency towards any neighbors. I'm sure if someone was putting up a S/D next to your property and workers started framing before 7:00 am you'd be less than thrilled. The OP has made it clear her problem is NOT the fact that it's a church. But some of you keep missing that.

Does the Church care about their neighbors?

I am glad that you think it is good to expand. If they want to get started before 0700 in the morning so be it. I think most people would agree that a "church" should be more compassionate of their neighbors. At least they should contact her and act like they might care.

I would not be happy about that you are right.... but that is the contractors out there putting up the steel not the Pastor, or any other leader of the church. I guess I will have to wait on a response to the school. Was every upset about the noise they made???

Were they breaking the JOCO law by working before 7am? i think you are taking this the wrong way - her original post is about the before 7am construction which i understand is breaking a law.

Still biting my tongue so hard:lol:

The church and the people who are donating money. So I am assuming that my Pastor should also be the foreman????

14 pages and still no response

Since you are a member maybe you can ask somebody in an official capacity to at least acknowledge her........Who cares who pays the bills and who is in charge. 14 pages of junk and the church should care about their community to at least get in touch with the person who has a complaint valid or not.

I agree with that and I will pass it on to some one in the church who I speak with daily. I do however feel that with in the 14 pages I have not seen much but piling on about how bad, evil, rude, and whatever else some one wants to say about my church.

MAYBE THATS A CLUE :!: THAT YOUR CHURCH HAS A PUBLIC RELATIONS PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

Wow what wonderful insight. I guess maybe it never crossed the minds of any of you with problems to walk up to C3 and ask face to face???? Nah it's not that big of a problem right. I mean to sit in front of the computer and send emails thats one thing but to actually have face time with some one that where the line is.

ARE EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS ANY DIFFERENT FROM A VIDEOTAPED SERMON? YOU MEAN SOMEBODY HAS TO BE FACE TO FACE TO GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS?????????

Not all sermons are deliverd by video tape. In the past year and half I have been there I have 3. I was not a fan of it but I still watched it.

Let's maybe change the topic to pile on C3.

I guess you are up next... GO

NO NEED TO CONTINUE. I THINK WE ALL HAVE PICKED UP ON THE ATTITUDE.

What I've gotten from all these pages is that C3 is not perfect so we shouldn't go there.

There isn't a perfect church anywhere, so we probably shouldn't go to church at all. There aren't any perfect pastors, so we shouldn't listen to their advice. There aren't any perfect people, so no one deserves our help anyway.

Excuse me. I'm heading back to the chapel of self indulgence...

...now where did I put my beer and the remote.

Maybe everyone needs to DROP IT now. No one is getting anywhere. No one is satisfied. have a nice evening.................

No where have I said that your church is "evil, bad, etc." and neither did the OP. I know some folks who go there and they are very happy with your church. More power to you. We can all use more church. But that does not absolve said church of community responsibility. That's the part you don't seem to get, seems like a simple phone call to the contractors instructing them to not start work before 7:00 am would have made a lot more sense.
