UMMMM, if memory serves, you did a pretty good job of stirring this pot, perhaps it should have been dropped about 14 pages ago.
And the contractors are most likely NOT going to listen anyway. They have a job to do. I doubt they'll care. much like the man who revs his engine as loud as he can in our neighborhood BEFORE 6:30 am to go to work. Oh well! He's got a job to do and to get to. Who am I to tell him when he can do it?
And when you got tired of dissenting opinions, YOU decided it should be dropped, how hypocritical. 8)
I will not argue or have a *****contest with you. If that is what you think about it and me.....fine My skin is thick.....whiuch reminds me, i need to sart my diet. I'm gonna start a thread on that. I need advice. I hope to find a converstion with you iin a more pleasant way.......God bless!!
kdc1970, I was in defense of church as a whole. I felt like the church was under attack. That's my opinion. I will defend my belief as I'm sure you would. i also gave my insight as to what to do about the complaint. Sorry if I made anyone upset, but I'm not in this alone.....
At this point in time the requests for communication have not been met with replies, the noise is an on going problem, and the problem seems to be illegal. The solution would seem to be to call the Sheriff every morning there is a violation and document the call. If the Sheriff's office gets tired of responding they will get someone's attention. If they do not respond you can get an attorney (you may be needing to consult with one anyway on the wreck issue) to write a cease and desist letter for you and copy the Sheriff's office to put them on notice as well. Someone will have to toe the legal line or you can take it to court, just as you would if it were any other business impacting the quiet enjoyment of your property. This would also have to be considered by the couonty if any further expansion was planned.
I'm not upset, trust me.............church as a whole was NOT being attacked in my opinion, there are a whole lot of people on here who believe in God, myself included. What I don't like to see is "church" being used as an excuse to steamroll over people, and I am not alone in that opinion either. The tone of many posts as I saw them was "how dare anyone question the great C-3" It might be a great church, I've never been there, but that is completley beside the point. 8)
Yeah, it's kinda like someone complaining about starving to death and there is a huge plate of food in front of them.
DUDE Go back to the first few pages...then go back a few pages from here. Peppercorns said she W-O-R-K-S during the day. I reiterated that for those who skimmed....then she stated AGAIN she didn't want to miss work... You know, bashing or no bashing, the church should have answered by now. It's easy to answer an email, easier than picking up the phone. Also, regardless of what the church says, the office isn't manned at all times during the day. Too many wasted trips up there over the past 4 years have proven that to me. When you call, it's very hit or miss that someone actually answers the phone. Learned that over the past 4 years also. You want to bring it up to someone, tell Pastor Matt. Tell Ken. Have them respond to the community questions. I don't care that your church is expanding. If that's what the Lord has decided is best for the congregation, so be it. It's the noise levels at such an early hour...as Pepps has so nicely stated and restated I don't know how many times...that is the issue. Frogger ...and, before you ask, I didn't live close enough when the school was being build to hear anything.
Peppercorns has been through enough. She has been through enough. Hopefully the comment I left on http://www.mattfry.com/ directing him to this thread will finally get a response and maybe she can sleep in until at least 0700
Stop Crying Let me get this straight. Your upset about all the noise from the church construction? Lordknows that when they built your house it didn't create any noises. To be honest with you I bet your the one in the neighborhood that complains about everything. I'm sure the church will start a forum about the demon that lives next door. The simple thing to do is put a for sale sign out front and shut-up about it. Your complaining about a church. I'm sure you wouldn't have payed it any mind if it was in my backyard. P.S. I'll sing extra loud for you.....lol
^^^What an ugly, ugly thing for a 'devout christian' to say! The complaint was never a slam on the church.
 i truly hope you are not a representative of the church or are assuming to speak for them because actually you are doing a lot more harm than good.
Are we even sure that ffnc27592 is a Christian at all? Please, let's not assume he/she could be. That's the kind of thing that gives bad names. I mean, what he/she said was rather cold and harsh.
