Lets get this staright. She was complaining about the noise before 7 am with construction, and about the music during service. The contractor should not start before 7 am and if they do, the should be called. Very little nosie should be heard outside the church walls during a service, contemporary or not. Next, to claim to be a regular at the church (you did not claim to be a christian) you are just mean.
gee ahhh thanks????? Anyway darling, MY house was there first. Secondly, I don't make enough noise, ( the music) to be heard over there. Thirdly, expecting any company or church to abide by the noise laws isn't asking too much. I heard only trucks this morning and no actually work until seven AM. Thank you. BUT no one has EVER CALLED or emailed ME BACK! How Rude!!!
Darling? pretty sure you don't know me that well....... I most of misunderstood you. I didn't realize that if you are the first to move into a subdivison you got to decide what was built around it. You sound like a very unhappy person. You must of run out of things to complain about so why not the church next door. What's next, the sirens on the firetrucks. I'm pretty sure your an adult "I think" why not walk over to the church and discuss this with them face to face or is it to easy to hide behind an email. Maybe you should just call the law on them. Either way I think this was a **** poor way for you to vent. Nothing like rallying the community against the church.
I never claimed anything of the sort. I think she should have done some research before she moved into the community. She is just mad that's in her backyard now she wants everybody to know about it. By the way I not mean just honest....... And sometimes the truth hurts!!!!!!!!!!!
She has been through enough. Hopefully the comment I left on http://www.mattfry.com/ directing him to this thread will finally get a response and maybe she can sleep in until at least 0700 Reply With Quote The comment was removed from this sight, it was there earlier today.
Nice Response No answer, just delete. Now I am really interested if peppercorn has heard anything today. Peppercorns please tell us you have heard something by now.
I am not a happy person because some small minded, one track, opinionated, snobby, people keep thinking that they know my intentions. I was there before the building was to be expanded. I like the idea that a church needs to expand because that means more folks are turning to Him. I expect the church and any neighbor to respect the community and follow the laws of the land. I have no bones about venting my feeling and or thoughts in a public forum - especially if i feel that I am right.(hey, all the senior members know that one - hee hee hee) As far as rallying people against the church I have done no such thing, but I have heard some interesting things about the church. Sorry if your feeling got hurt there bucko. Not everyone loves where I go to church. So what. Different strokes for different folks. And FF, my posting here has made a difference- this morning I only heard trucks before 7 and then the actual work starting. Personally, I think they were busy trying to contact their lawyers and are too chicken to speak with me. No, I am not taking off of work to go talk to them. Their phone works too. Are you the "Christian" who flipped off my daughter as she was trying to cross the road to get the mail after services a few weeks ago? No? So then don't sit there and tell me how high and mighty everyone over there is. THere are rotten apples in most baskets way down in the bottom. Just like the lurkers in the 4042.com basket. By the way...I only meant darling sarcatically... I have much higher standards.
The law clearly states that they nor anyone else in this County can start work until 7am. End of that discussion. The reason they are "getting away with it" Ken who is the administor........ Anyone that goes there or has attended C3 at one time knows that the building was supposed to be complete by Easter of 2007. I have the orignal paperwork. Ken....administor....is a contractor or whatever he developed Chardbourne. So I look at it at face value Ken is in charge who is in association with C# who is Pastors right hand man. They as Christians should follow the same laws everyone else in this County have to. Just b/c the church was & has been delayed does not give them the right to be doing what they are doing. I do not live near there either but if I heard what she did I would have taken un christian like mattters into my own hands!!! Then I would ask forgiveness!! The real issue is now this should prove to you who go to C3 there are major concerns there take a good look at the big picture. If they think they are exempt from the law what next?!!!!!! This just erks me I am sorry for anyone who lives over there. For the Pastor to possibly deny this avenue he lives right there in Broadmor (sp) He knows whats going on they are on a push bottom line $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Oh I know that some Christian people can be mean. That's what I meant when I said that that is what gives them a bad name. So if he is, he is. But I would like to think not. Can ya blame me?
Not the only ones Ok, so if there has been construction going on before 7, its been an oops. I am sure that they did not realize that they were disturbing people. From what I have seen they are not the only ones that have overlooked this while doing construction in Johnston County. I live next to a metal fabrication business who starts work at 6 AM. Does it get loud over there and wake me up, yes but I'm Ok with it. Living by new construction I routinely have trucks and other equipment working before 7. If it truely bothered me and it was an ongoing occurance I would contact them in any which way that I could. I don't understand the need to make it public. My point is that this is not the only construction that does this. I'm not sure why this has to be a "bash fest" on C3. There are other ways to resolve neighhborhood disagreements without the "jump on the bandwagon" and bring down a growing church. Obviously they are doing something right to have the growing numbers that they do.
No I am not a member. I just thought if she walked over to the church and talked to somebody she might get some where...
