C3 - are you listening?????

The church is only providing the building for the coffee shop, it is a coffee shop who is putting their business in a church, just as if starbucks was beside it but instead of being beside it it is in it that is all.. but I'm done fighting a losing battle.. if anyone who wants to voice it then m-f there are people there and if you cant go during those hours, then tuesday the are band practices, wednesday there are highschool youth group, and large teching for small groups,


But im done because I know that I cant change peoples mind on how they feel, so instead of getting upset im just going to leave..

My prayer for all of you is that you find somewhere where you feel comfortable enough to worship God in whatever capacity you think is appropriate for you.

But not one of the 16 knows how to answer an e-mail or retrieve a telephone message and return a call?

I agree with Mafiaman on this, if those complaints were made about my church, I would have gotten the person an answer the same day.

A couple more things I have been wondering about as I read this thread. How come the church blog is in the pastor's name, instead of the name of the church? And yet he doesn't have access to his own blog, he "has people" to take care of that?

 

And since I seemed to be dammed for all eternity now.....

How is a church zoned? Is a commercial coffee shop legal as far as the zoning laws?
Could one of the demonic minions I know tell me? Or perhaps tell me how to check?

 

I see what you mean Ken. THat sould be a very cozy set up. But I will run with the thought that all is legit on the books.
(I am afraid someone may come and shoot me - i have figured out that they are contacting lawyers or someone before they speak to me. Either that or they are plotting my early demise. Makes me wonder about the ...nah... nevermind.....lol))
What I am curious knowing is the Zoning for that. Seems to me a coffee shop would be commercial and a church not. HMMMMMMMMmmmmm

27 pages and this poor woman does not get a response. All she is looking for is somebody to talk to her. And before someone says go to the church.........after 8600 views not everyone is going to go to the church. It has hit the point that most of us would like the church to respond.

Since you know him maybe you can get him to respond to my questions about littering. So far he has not responded to any emails, but I am waiting a little longer before I start that thread

To me Starbucks isn't worth it even if it is free, but it will work for me. Can I get someone to bring the coffee to my car in the mornings as I do not want to drive by. Evidentially this in one of their ministries they do not advertise. Free coffee......

 

Hmmmmm.....looking at the calendar in front of me right now and tomorrow night is actually THURSDAY night. Tonight on the other hand is actually WEDNESDAY, which also happens to be the LAST of the month not the FIRST.


What is this the blind leading the blind here? Maybe we should offer a transcript of this in braile. Course that still doesn't mean people would actually read and comprehend/understand before making the knee jerk comments/reactions they have so far.

the problem, as i see it, has now become much larger than the noise thing...the fact that only defensive, verse-slinging, non-administrative members have responded has made this whole thing worse. no responses at all leave people only with their imaginations to go with. nobody has anything to go on more than speculation, because the church won't address us.

 

So you're saying that there will be a for-profit business inside the church? Okay, I'll ask again: How is this different from the money changers in the temple? I can't believe that such devout Christians would let this sort of thing happen in their church.

Just so you know- I am not a member nor do I even live in NC... I read Pastors blog and found your little complain and instigate thread... so I shake my head and let you go on with your miserable existence... you wont be happy until you know you are the center of attention. I am praying that your heart will be changed.

C3 is about the heart--- they are not going to tell you or convict you. They are going to let you decide how you want to be.
C3 gives real hope

in a real world

If it weren’t for that loud obnoxious church in the middle of no where... I would have never set foot in a traditional church- they would have not accepted my tattoos, piercing or lifestyle. Because of C3 I know that there is God who loves and only cares about the heart. And he knows the heart of C3 and their staff.
And now if I die tomorrow I know that I will go home to be with my creator.

Everytime my band playes in Raleigh- I hit C3... you dont have to be a member to attend.

And NO they dont charge for coffee... GO THERE AND SEE!
