I hate camel cricket. when ifirst moved to NC I rented a place and they lived in the shed part under the house. They used to get into the bedroom every now and then.. Yuckies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hired an exterminator to come and kill them. I had a wood roach fly into my old house once and almost had a heart attack. I didn't sleep for three days thinking those big ugly things had infested my house. I was a physical and mental wreck. I don't do roaches or camel crickets. The man came and told me that is was an outside bug that just happened to get in. I didn't believe him and made him spray anyway.

When a camel cricket is on the wall the only way he can jump is out at you. THe can't do direction so they just go up and down from whatever position they are in. So while on the wall, "up" is from whereever their feet are. - that means at you. my advice...run!

i hate a wolf spider in my shed a few weeks ago. i killed him with brake cleaner. i was afraid he was going to carry my dog off....

I have now realized that some people have gone COMPLETELY insane. That person was holding that ugly thing in that picture..............I am so creeped out about bugs right now that I used hair spray and a wet cloth to get after a real tiny red spider on the ceiling this morning in my bathroom.........he fell on the dadburn carpet and I lost him......

Cave crickets, camel crickets, jumpin crickets...

Put some corn meal in a steep sided bowl or an old fish tank works great. In the morning all the cave crickets in a gazillion mile radius will be in the trap. Just toss a towel over it or whatever and take em outside.

Works great for catching them to feed pet lizards and such.
