Ladies, I need some advice. I'm looking for some beauty products for my face, but my skin is extremely sensitive. I have 'combination' skin, oily and dry ... but anything I put on drives my sinuses up a wall! I cant wear makeup or any hair products without getting a sinus headache. I've tried just about everything 'over the counter' (that you can buy at a drug store) ... even finer products like Clinique, Oil of Olay, etc ...

Anyone have any other suggestions, or had a problem with allergies? I've had this prob my whole life, and have just never worn makeup for more than an hour or two .. never done hairspray or gels ... but now that I'm getting *cough* "older" ............. ;)

I seen this make up on QVC but can't remember the name of it. It was made out of all natural minerals. It is to help people with your type of problem. Just can't think of the name.

I have sensitive skin (and eyes), and use Mary Kay. I can give you the info to my rep if you'd like. She'll help you see if it's for you.

Was it Bare Minerals? I've heard it's the best. Don't know personally. I rarely use makeup of any kind.

That's what I use. I don't really have sensitive skin, but I always hated the way make-up felt on my skin, so I never wore it until I started using the bare ecentuals line. It's all in powder form; the foundation, blush, etc (not the lipstick or mascara though, obviously) which I like because it all blends so nicely. I don't feel it at all, it doesn't give me break-outs, and I think it looks more natural than most make-up. The one draw back is it's kind of pricy.

Loreal also put out a line of mineral make up. It has become the latest thing. It does work well to reduce the sign of oil and fine lines.

I have super oily skin and my problem is keeping anything on my face. (the paint won't dry , if you are trying to paint on a slick canvass)
I have been used these Neutrogena micro demabrasion cleansing pads and they seem to be helping a bit. I need to try a foundation primer. I heard they work well.

I have oily skin and I use Mary Kay make up. As far as cleansers go I use Acne free. It is a 3 part system that is not tough on your skin. I have sensitive skin too and I used proactive which tore me up but this product I get at walmart for like 18 dollars seems to help. It has a cleanser a toner and lotion. Also for spot treatment, Mary Kay has a good product for that. Hey have a Mary Kay party and invite me. I can use a little more LOL.

Okay I found this product through my mother it is called Serious Skin Care, she gets it from HSN. IT is awesome and I have sensitive skin. They have several lines. I use the olive oil skin care treatment it is superb. It is gentle and effective. This skin care line has anti-aging products as well, they have insta-tox that you can use over small lines you may have and it covers them well. I had some skin damage from sun (sitting at baseball games in NC and forgetting to reapply my sunblock) and these products have made my skin appear like that of a 20 something. ( I am forty next year).

I switched to Mary Kay about 3 months ago and I LOVE it!! I do the microderm abrasion once a week and feel like a new person afterwards! I also have senitive skin and am allergic to everything! People that I work with and my family also were asking me what I had done differently. The way I first started was I had a party because a lady at work sells it. I earned free product and loved it after doing the whole "work up" at the party. I am now addicted. Let me know if you need a consultatnt to help get you started if you are interested. The lady I buy from and work with lives behing DR Wells. :)

I have also tried the beauti-control stuff and that worked really well. Has anyone else used that? I tried the base and the blush and I like them a lot. It is just hard to find. I don'T know another rep.

BeautiControl is different than Mary Kay. BeautiControl has a great sensitive skin care line and a lot of different anti-aging products that are fragrance free.

The wet/dry powder foundation is fragrance free also.

Not trying to sell, but I am a rep.

My skin is very sensitive, too. I have rosacea pretty bad. It's a lot of redness and broken capilaries.

I have had great luck with 2 products, first is the Mary Kay makeup that comes in a tube. Also, I use only Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer on my face. I am under a dermatologists care for my skin, and she recommends the cetaphil...and I just love how it makes my skin feel.

    Hope that helps.
