What did you have for lunch?

I had one of the BEST spinach salad ever (other than the ones at Angus Barn!) It was so yummy that I'm going to share the recipe with y'all. :-D

SPINACH AND MUSHROOM SALAD

1 bunch spinach (I used bagged)
1/2 cup croutons (I used cheese & garlic flavor, but any should do)
4 ounces mushrooms, washed and sliced
1 small avocado, peeled and sliced
2 green onions, sliced (I omitted this, by accident - forgot to buy them )
1/2 cup crumbled feta or blue cheese (I used feta)
1/2 cup vinegar and oil dressing (I used Ken's Red Wine Vinegar & Olive Oil)

Mix it all up and ENJOY!!!!!

 

OMG, it's been such a l-o-n-g time since I've seen a lunch thread!

I had chick-fil-a...love it! Bad for the waist, but couldn't help it.

Leftover pizza. (like I needed more pizza after last night!:? )

 

I had leftovers........Hamburger patties, Mashed potatoes and corn. It was good, but a salad from Jason's Deli on Spring Forest Road in Raleigh was what I really wanted.

 

I had mozzarella sticks from wally world

 

I had Arby's and right now I'm having Pita Thins...

 

On the road today and was starving, McDonalds <vomit>

 

Eating my lunch right now.......A cold Mt.Dew (without the Crown) and a bag of Funyuns.......yeah me.

I started with a South Beach meal and it was GROSS! So, I tossed it and ran and got a bean burrito from Taco Bell!

 

ok so now that it is almost dinner time - I had pizza for lunch *sigh* so I don't get any dinner.

 

Homemade miso soup.

I'm cooking Korean-style chicken for supper.

/been on an oriental flair lately.

 

i was waiting for both our vehicles to get inspected so it was ckn tenders and fried okra - no dinner for tonite either:-D

 

I usually keep some, but it's always better with alittle (or in my case alot)Crown in the dew.

German Bologna, sharp chedder cheese, spinich on pumpernickle bread. Mmmmm, with a glass of milk. Made at home by DH just for me.

Crown in Mtn Dew?? Never tried that, Crown is one of my favorites!

 

Thai/Vietnamese food

 

Crown was my Daddy's fav - whenever i see or hear about it i think of him:-D Actually there are a lot of liquors that are good with Mt Dew including the Capt:-D
