is this a poll or something? are you just comparing what you pay according to others? Just wondering.

Mine's a 4-door, not one of those cute 2-doors with the removable top - that would be cool. ;)

 That would almost pay our mortgage!

We have ZERO in car payments, thank God, and haven't had a car payment for about 16 years. :)

 That would pay our mortgage (including taxes and insurance) and we'd have $179 left over.

Ok, ok! Make me feel bad why don't ya? Just kidding.

We have a mortgage (well, actually rent) payment too.

My daughter is done with driver's ed and will soon be ready for a car of her own. I can promise you that there will be no car payments on that one! We'll be in the market for something cheap, reliable, safe, and most importantly . . . HUGE. If I could get her an army tank I would! She's still got a lot of learning to do before she gets a car. She tends to be "gas happy". Don't know where she gets that

One car, one truck, one SUV, two motorcycles total payment for the 2 still owed is ~$740.00 on one of those 0% promotions.

Two cars (paid off) and a truck for my two sons, the older bought the truck himself but I still got the insurance ....

huge = bad. small cars are much more forgiving. if I'd started out in my jeep and not my grandpa's old Dakota I'd be dead by now. when you're a newbie driver you need all the forgiveness you can get in the car because new drivers (especially after about 6 months when that 'confidence' starts building) don't have a great track record for leaving reaction space.
