Yes they should have been in school. However, you do not know their circumstances at home so please do not make assumptions about their lives. For all we know, they could have no home or parents. Also remember you are talking about a KID. Not an adult, a KID.
16 and 17 year olds do know better. As far as I'm concerned, they should be treated as adults by the justice system. They're old enough to drive, they're old enough to do the time. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! Mike
