I thought this thread would have died already.

I PM'd Ormly and asked what church they attended. He/She is not a member of nor does he/she attend a church. He/She does a local bible study at Buiscutville.

I agree, he should not have disclosed this information if you did not wish it, but were you intending to get our information and not share yours.

I have already shared mine with you in a PM on the first day or so of your posting.

What you shared left me with the assumption you were a Buddhist. Is that correct?

No, I shared with you that a number of Buddhist attend my church. I am a Unitarian Universalist with my personal beliefs being more of a Secular Humanist.

Again, your intentions were to find what everyone else is and attends but you had no intention of sharing this info about yourself?

I didn't say I wouldn't. However, the lack of sincerity on this forum is appallingly dismal. And you all call yourselves, Christian? My intention in asking was to find out why.

is there such a thing as an unorthodox athiest? or an orthodox athiest?

Is there really anything orthodox about "organized religion"?

    But why would it matter?

Because I want to know what type of person [Christian or otherwise] I am speaking to, those who say they are yet saying nothing to indicate they are and those who infer they aren't. Because I know the difference, the distinctions are difficult to make.

So it doesn't matter if they are a nice person, they just HAVE to be Christian in order for you to speak to them?

If that's who it is, he must have taken a crash course in spelling and grammar while he was banned.

My comments were only being addressed to those who were professing to be Christians, no one else.
