What are the marriage rates among each religious group? Having that information would give clearer info. as to the significance <if any> of those percentages.
46+ Years 46 years, 10 months, 14 days and still counting. LOL The best years of my life. I don't believe we will ever be included in any divorce stats.
Maybe they found he11 and were trying to get out of it.......... anyway me: 0 for 2 husband # 1 Luthern husband # 2 Jewish Me - non practicing Catholic who now attends a Baptist church. Have fun with that math.
I am a Baptist. Southern Baptist at that. Daddy was a preacher (Yes I was one of those kids) I am on my second. Bout to trade her in to.
I guess I just don't understand your responce. Athiests and agonostics have the lowest devoice rates and from personal experience tend to be very loving.
Anyone know the statisitcs for couples who worship and follow the teachings of the same religion? There is a difference between "being" of a certain faith and actually living by that faith. Husband and wife practicing separate religions brings divide in all the basic foundations of the marriage and the household.
I have an anecdotal statistic. My wife and I have ben married for over 30 years. I think I am a god and she disagrees completely.
My wife for some reason keeps saying "Jesus Christ" around me and keep having to tell her I ain't him.
My wife and I are coming up on year #8. Its awesome to see people married for 20+ years. For my generation, you don't see that kind of commitment very much. I'm not judging those who've been a divorced, its just nice to see some people who have made it a long time. Both my parents of divorced and re-married multiple times each. I can't hardly count the number of ex-step brother and sisters I have. My wife's parents were never married - one night stand type of thing. Which I am totally grateful and blessed because she is an awesome wife! I'm working on becoming an awesome husband. Maybe one day I'll get there. Those still married, keep rocking on. Those that have divorced, don't give up that special person is still out there. Divorce is not the end, there's a whole lot of life still out there. Some churches give people a hard time to divorced people. You can't let that moment hold you back from moving foward. My belief is "If you're still breathing then God is still working in your life."
