Does anyone like to dance and know where lessons are tought such as ball room?? Special occassions etc.?
My son has been taking Salsa lessons at Arthur Murray in Raleigh. http://www.arthurmurray-raleigh.com/
Hey, Turtle, do they allow old broads without partners to join in? I might have to check it out!:lol:
Thanks, I have checked in there but wasn't to impressed with the attitudes there......but that is the kinda lessons I am looking....
There just so happens to be someone advertising in the classifieds! http://4042.appcomm.net/cgi-bin/404...play_db_button=on&db_id=59517&query=retrieval Good luck!
There are some sort of dance classes taught in Clayton in what used to be the old raquetball court of the Time Out gym next to the police station. Looked like a shag lesson last time i saw in there but im no expert on it.
Most places that have salsa dancing also have lessons for free, like on Sunday afternoon. I used to go to Monta's Lounge in Durham. They're supposed to be opening up a beach place where Clayton Fitness was. Also, I've taken shag lessons at Red's Beach Music in north Raleigh. My wife danced with Edward Walker from Trading Spaces when we were there. (At least he looks really gay.)
And let me guess you are located near Lowe's, right. Maybe all you new business should check with Webbie about paying for advertising.
so, that's a furniture store, a boutique, dessert store, and now a dance studio? are they all on bratton drive? did i miss anyone else? all of you are new members. all of you are asking specific questions that can be answered (conveniently, of course, and without your foreknowledge, OF COURSE ) by the owners of new business within feet of each other. you know, when everyone here catches on that this idol chit chat garbage all of you are posting and answering each other is nothing but a way to shill your new stores on a local message board without bothering to advertise there, people are going to be mad. so far, they've been playing along. but not all of us. personally, i don't like having my intelligence insulted by what is obviously an attempt to put one over on people. how was the food at the "new business owner's meeting" where y'all hatched this little plan? ps i'd love to see all of these posts (about all of these wonderful new places that anonymous people just happened to stumble across) DELETED
As far as paying for advertising on my part, I have applied for advertising and they say that they are 3-4 weeks behind so just as soon as they do it, it will be up and running No one has insulting you---go take an exlax.
And yes you did miss one, the Pawn & Gift Shop. I don't know who mentioned the Furniture store---it wasn't me
so, you start a thread asking about ballroom dancing when there's a new ballroom dancing place near your new store? honey, i was born on a wednesday, but it wasn't last wednesday...
And all this talk about "kicking the webby some cash"??? We have all kicked him some cash. You are just upset there are different people in here now and not just your click of people---Get used to it
doesn't matter. the furniture store is right near you. and, in this thread: http://4042.appcomm.net/4042forums/showthread.php?p=157099#post157099 "someone" who registered in just the last couple of weeks (strangely, just like you and the dance person) mentioned the pawn shop. you chimed in "really? where is it located?" now, in this thread you remind me that i left it out of the list of new places all right together (including your own)? HELLO? WE'RE NOT STUPID
not my "click" (sic) of people. it's more about supporting the community and not being played for idiots by some low-intellect shop owners who got together to play the old "oh, look what i found" "ooh, tell me more" game on us. try talking about something that doesn't involve one of those business and nobody would care that you're a newbie. it's the fact that you're all shilling for your businesses for free that's getting to me
