On American Idol. He is the one that was horrible, yet never got voted off. I am SO glad to see him go!

You ever get the feeling that American Idol is the one behind the shannigans, keeping somebody around like Sanjia to boost ratings...especially during a season where their really isn't that much personality.

Howard Stern and all the critics of the show are just feeding the machine. I like American Idol, but I don't get a chance to watch very often.

I made the statement several yeras ago and then again last year about the fact that AI is predetermined as to who will win, and that the "voting public" really has no say in the outcome.

Don't get me wrong, Sanjaya doesn't sing well but I do feel bad for him. I think AI made him look like an idiot and he couldn't say anything about it.

    :)

I agree, I feel bad for him too. When he was voted off last night and I said, "FINALLY!!" my middle school son said, "Mom!" and I had to explain that it wasn't Sanjaya the person, it was Sanjaya the singer. He just wasn't good enough to be where he was. He sings much better than I do, but not better than some of the ones who were voted off before he was.

I loved the way Sanjaya started singing about his hair last night. When he did that, it made me think of how Leif Garrett (remember him?) was such a teeny bopper's delight because he was cute (back then >
[IMG] - not now! > [IMG]) and had great hair. I was one of those girls who had a mad crush on him.

Anyway, I hope Sanjaya can put the negative part of his AI experience behind him and just move on with a normal life. I'd hate to see him wind up like LG (drug addict ^.) :-(

I agree with you King, and that was what I was getting at. I am curious now if Sanjaya will say anything regarding negative things that was said about him.

Actually heard about this today, this guy started of this morning telling us of his accomplishments last night. "I installed a light fixture and made my six year old cry". I asked him what the hell that was about and he said he woke up his daughter to tell her that this guy was voted off the Island and she then proceeded to cry herself back to sleep.

Yeah, I was very relieved that Sinjaya is finally gone. I doubt he'll say too much negatively, as he will go on tour with the top 10 and make himself some $. IF anything is in him vocally, he'll get a career out of it. . .wait - William Ho or was it Hung? Ho-Hung whatever - he made a name for himself and some bucks from AI.

Lakisha deserved to be in the B3 - she needed a wakeup call - she's been getting the yawn-factor.

Blake in the B3 was a shock! I really like Blake - He's my pick for winner.

Wow - in the 'now' picture, he kind of looks like the previous Survivor tribe member AFTER the Vietnamese contestant did that headache remedy on him and made a big rub burn in between his eyebrows. . .anyone remember that?

I was glad he was voted off, because of his singing, but also felt bad thinking of what this 17 year old was feeling. I like Blake and was surprised he was in the bottom 3.

Ah, Leif Garrett...use to have a big crush on him too. In fact, have one of his 45's..."I Was Made For Dancing"
