I called to get an estimate. Guy comes out to the house & immediately solicits to do the job on the side. The guy made me really uncomfortable & put me in an uncomfortable situation. After he leaves I call the owner he is out of town so I leave a voice mail. An hour later his wife calls me to tell me I misunderstood the estimator. She tells me this while he is in th office with her. I explain I did not misunderstand anything that is stealing from your compnay & if that is how you want to do business I will find someone else. I tried to explain to her the message was for her husband & she should not be speaking to me with that man in her office or at least not let me know he is there. I try to do the right thing & bam!! Anyway I will not use them for anything if they allow their own employees to steal business away from them. Is that weird or what?
Maybe there is some hanky panky going on between the wife and the worker and they are trying to steal customers away. JUST KIDDING!!!!!
Yes it is. I would want to know if a rep was trying to do that, so I could FIRE his .... (you know what) :mrgreen:
Its a family owned business. Its sons, cousins and all that. I know them personally and they are usually good people. But everyone has those days.
They said not to use them and I would. Thats what is has to do with them. I'd use them. Is that good enough? What did your comment have to do with them.....curious The post was saying they were trying to do the job privately and that's most likely why....they are ALL family.
