Ok, here is a story of the sorriest customer service ever. This company came in sounded good, nice sales pitch, very low pressure, gave me a deal. All was well. Then the install . . . . The installer came out cut off my MAIN business line and DSL service, then blamed my phones. HAHA !! After telling me my service will come back up when it resets from him interupting the line. It never came back on. Then to top it off he puts their LOGO on my front door on top of my logo that I paid good money for. The company has still yet to say "sorry , my bad" nothing. The monthly rate is only 15$, but to pay anything at all for the install is just a bad choice. ADT did my home and was great. Bellsouth came out fixed my issue confirmed the installs mistake and charged my nothing(Thats great service). I hope this helps anyone thinking of putting in an alarm system. Do not get scammed these guys.
See this is how advertising works on 4042.com. If your talking security there is only one. Harleygirl will take care of ya.
If I had great service before, I would have stayed with that company. A lot of times, customers don't know anything about the company they are signing up with and get screwed! Unfortunatley. Check your agreement. They may have you on the hook for a year or 3 for monthly monitoring. If you are NOT happy you should be able to cancel, but don't hold your breath. It's funny you mention that about Priority I was just talking with someone you know about them Thursday. Check your PM's.
I actually just got a security system from them (so the wife will sleep better). They actually did a better job than ADT did on my old house (so many problems all due to the installer). With Priority, we wanted a wireless keypad upstairts, but when I was talking to the installer, he mentioned that the wireless keypad didn't always chime when the doors opened. So he hooked it up and left it on our endtable instead of bolting to the wall. He said to try it for a week and see if it does what we wanted, if so, he'd come back and bolt it in the wall, if not, they exchange it for something else. It didn't work out, so he came back and exchanged it out with no fuss. Friends up the street had the same good experience. Maybe the guy that installed my old ADT unit, installed your system.
