I know we mentioned this before, but it looks like nothing really happening lately at the new shopping center site next to Clayton's CVS on Hwy 70. My questions are: 1. What kind of stores are they planning to established? Panera Bread? Barnes/Noble? Big name resturant like Red Lobster? 2. When are they going to start building?
No Formal Site Plan Yet Nothing has come before the Town of Clayton Planning Board for this property.
Barnes & Noble? I am starting to wonder if their is an ordinance against book stores in the area. Personally, a bookstore is on my wishlist.
I asked the girls at CVS when the clearing first started. They said it was going to be another WakeMed building. I don't know if the info is correct but that's what they told me.
I agree that we do need a bookstore in Clayton. I also wish we could get a Tim Horton's done here. Peekaboo
No Tim Horton's in the south! Tim Horton's. That brings back good memories. To my knowledge there are none in the south yet. I have seen one in West Virginia.
