Is any one familiar with "New Bethel Church rd"? Where does it lead too? and will it continue to stay open throughout the construction? I think it ends on 50 hwy? Will it still connect through to 50 (if thats true) all summer? Im lost. I never go that way...PLease let me know

The bridge opened at the beginning of April. New Bethel does not connect to Highway 50 anymore. Once the construction is complete, I don't think Highway 50 will conect. Too bad, I used that to cut through every once in a while.

BUT the bridge over Barber Mill Road is not even 5% done.

At that section the 70 bypass will be over, not under, the per-existing road. It looks like it will be ages before that bridge is done.

A report came out around the beginning of the year. The project was suppose to be something like 25% done by that point YET they were like 59% done already. Based on those kind of stats ... they are making great progress.

I was disappointed that New Bethel no longer links to hwy 50. I think there is a plan for a road from Timber (near Timber & 50 through the land where they have rodeos) through to White Oak some time in the future.

A drought is only good for two things: Keeping mosquito levels low and keeping construction projects on schedule.
