why is everyone here such a sucker for this guy? this thread was dead for days until HE BUMPED IT and you guys just start right back up with him. sheesh. please let this die this time
He is a lonely old man, at least that is my impression, and this is probably his only entertainment. I look at it as a community service. :mrgreen:

Beer and Beans make for an interesting evening with funny festivities and laughter. Just bring a lighter, more beer, and a fishbowl that will fit on someones head, and a long funnel, ducktape, and crayons.
Umm I have seen a few. Catholics do. I do at times. The Bible says not to be drunk with wine. He didn't say you could not have a cold one every now and then.
The Bible is real clear about being drunk (don't) but doesn't say don't drink. Where that comes from is where Paul talks about not doing things that will cause people who are weak in their faith to 'fall'. It's more about being a good example than legalism. If you're drinking a cold one because you like it, that's one thing...if you are doing it for the buzz or because you 'need' it, then you've got some self-control issues. Everyone is an influence on someone else...you just need to decide what kind of influence you want to be. (And don't try to determine the state of someone's soul based on what they do...that's God's job)
I don't need to say it first. It's nice to read from someone who has some knowledge from which to draw from.
