Bob from the showgram had surgery

I heard on the radio this morning he will be out 8 weeks. I wonder what kind of surgery he had. Hope everything is ok.

 

Well, he'd better hope his fill-in isn't a hit or he'll come back to no job...

Not to be rude, but OBVIOUSLY some of us like Bob and the Showgram b/c he's still there and we still listen...He had surgery that has a recovery time of possibly 8 weeks...thats not MINOR surgery. If you can't show support and concern for a fellow human, why even open the thread?? If you don't like him fine...but a little compassion goes a long way...If you KNOW you don't like him, why open it and throw in anything?? Personally, I hope he recovers quickly and is back on the show ASAP! As of right now, Randi is filling in for him..

I've always liked Bob, too. Can't stand Mike, haven't really listened since Kristen started and I don't commute anymore. And I DON'T miss Amy!!


cmdknw06, I don't know if your post was directed at me or not - I was merely making a joke. I'm sorry you don't have a sense of humor, maybe you could call up Bob and get a referral to his surgeon and have one inserted? Or at least get that stick removed....

Recovery time for WLS is not 8 weeks, especially in his line of work. He would have been out 2...maybe 3 weeks max.

 

It is a pretty serious procedure from what I understand (MGB), I know several people who had it. They were out the standard 6 weeks, and 2 of them had complications and were out longer. If my STD plan allowed 8 weeks, I would take it.

 

I was out 2 weeks and my brother (construction Super) was out 3 weeks.
