Sorry, I thought the website I posted was pretty clear. Didn't think I needed to spell it out yet again.
Well I am out of hidding for the moment. I have not had the chance to follow up with the people who maintain or could tell me the status of the property next to me as being wetlands or not. The next night after my last posting i had a Johnston county sherriffs deputly at my door. Obviously they monitor this forum. I never meant to slander them if thats how it came out. But that is the way my neighbor made it sound. I have had to change my nick several times and will not post, just read posts. I have emailed the people who deal with wetlands and they have called and emailed me back, but again i am in fear of retribution from my neighbor and the person doing the filling in. When the Deputy showed up it was superbowl sunday, I was in my bedroom doing my usual Sunday night stuff, folding laundry and watching TV. Other then my bedroom the rest of mylights were off. I went back into the kitchen/laundry to get my blanket and i saw light on out on my side yard. I double checked to make sure my back yard lights were not on. I realized it was a vehicle and thought it was my back yard neighbor again being lazy to drive up his street and down mine. I was in fear of my life so i called some very close near and dear friends of mine. Only to find out that it was the local sherriff's deputy concerning my post about them. Again I apologize to the sherriff bizzel and his deputies, but they need to check into people who bend the truth put honest people in fear. If that deputy wants to show up at my home again i promise i will open my door to him this time and anwer any question he wants. beleive me they know where i live, now only if the agency who maintains the wetland type areas wil check out the area where we live. and good bye for another 3 months for fear of my life from my neighor and his neigbor.
Anybody looked at google earth? Is that a barn in the process of being built, too? I don't see a building permit (if that is the right property I am looking at). We have wetlands on our property, I wouldn't dream of filling it in and trying to do anything with it. It would mess up everybody else's property, kwim? And besides, I just don't think it would be stable. Good Luck Rockyv!!
If what is happenening is truly happening it is a pretty serious infraction of the law, not to mention socially and ecologically irresponsible and reprehensible. All of this souonds like another 'wonderful' Son Lan development with a restrictive covenant like swiss cheese (probably smells as bad too).
