It's been awhile since I've been down Tryon Rd. There used to be a place called Fun Werks(?) with go carts and arcade games, etc. Is it still there? And does anyone if it still goes by that name? Looking for someplace to go with 11 yr. son. Don't know if I want to go all the way to Adventure Landing. Thanks.

Looks closed! I just drove by there yesterday going to Cary and it looks like it is CLOSED! Grass in severe need of cutting, and I think there may have been a "for lease" sign up. I would definitely CALL before planning a trip out there!!
Fun Works, if i am not mistaken, is in the middle of an enormous law suit due to a go-cart crash. Might be why its closed, if it is.
Frankie's is an awesome place to go to. It has rides/activities for all ages. Its very clean and not too expensive, except for the restaurant on location. That place seems to be a bit pricey.
