Tassy, your Frisky coming home after 10 days is giving me hope. Baxter (from Lost Cat post) has been gone for a week today. He's inside and outside, too, but has access to inside at all times through a doggy door. That's what makes me worry the most - he didn't come home even when it was raining. I'm glad for you, though!
Had M.W. seen him? :-( I don't get down there much, but if you need me to come help you look and talk to the neighbors, I will. Just call me!
No, MW hadn't, and I've already talked to all of my other neighbors. I took his picture around to all of them. DH drove every possible back road around here at least 6 times. Have had the dogs out on leashes sniffing around every day. Totally overboard looking for him. I really feel that we've done all we possibly can do. Just hoping that if he's still in one piece he finds his own way back at this point. I know, I know, keep cats inside. Thank you so much for your offer to help. That means a lot!
Don't give up... I had checked all the shelters, JoCo & Wake.. and then on the 11th day, I opened the front door and there he was, just like he didn't even know he'd had me worried. I do think he might have gotten somewhere that he might have been shut-in though. He didn't stray far from around the house for about a week, and was all about making up for lost love-time while he was in the house. He too has a doggie door on the screen porch, which lets them atleast come in from the bad weather, etc... and with all the rain we'd had while he was gone.. I just kept hoping!
Thanks for the encouragement. If he does come home, he's going to be in so much trouble! I have 2 other cats, and one of them absolutely hates him. Very jealous, I think. Peanut has been having a party all week! We keep asking him where he hid his little brother.
