tea room downtown clayton

Is that Tea Room downtown Clayton still open?

 

No, I think it closed a while back. I don't recall what's there now, though.

I have heard two rumors. One they were buying a house on the corner of Main and Fayetteville Street in downtown Clayton. Front of house faces Fayetteville Street. Then I heard they were opening in the stip mall up Business Hwy. 70 heading to Garner. No activity at either location.

 

they are still trying to get somewhere permanent. The place they wanted to go and had signed a lease deal with got sold out from under them. They will be reopening just not sure where at yet.

 

There is a tea room in Smithfield.
