I was curious if there are any homebrewers in the area that may want to meet up or get together for a group brew.

    Let me know,

I've heard you brew up some really great beer!

Didn't you win an award not too long ago for some of your beer?

Not a brewer-but I love beer! Would love to be schooled to be more "culinary"
in my beers-and get away from my domestic love affair.

I brew though my last batch is still sitting.....hoping that it turns out better than the first two bottles did.......one bottle had so much carbination that it kept foaming once opened till over half the beer was gone....the second had very very little carbination at all.

My first few batches turned out really well, and hopefully the stuff I have for my next batch at the house will turn out well.....planning to make a Honey amber.

Got a buddy of mine that is about to turn his garage into a big brewing area.

  10. Love the question that leads you to this, this is Johnston County, it is famous for its "home brewers".

I just got back from Montana. I had some pretty good beer there. The town I was in was pretty small but had a brewery, Bitter Root Brewery. You could get a 24 oz. at the local store for $2.28

You could get there beer for $3 at the brewery but you could only have four. I laughed in the barmaid's face when she told me that. She said: "You think that's funny?"

Their food sucked, though and they closed at 8.

-Downtown the beer was cheap too. I had some Fat Tire and Bong Water. The Bong Water was actually ok. Kind of fruity.
